Jimmy and I would like to WELCOME you to J’P’s DoG House Chews! Not All treats are created equal and we would like to share with you why ours will beat out many others, especially Commercial brands. The truth is your dog will most likely devour anything you give him, they don’t care where they come from or what is in them. For that matter many of us have experienced the dog who loves to go searching through the trash. See what I mean, a dog could be perfectly happy eating GARBAGE. What IS important for you to know dear dog owner is that because we LOVE our dogs it is up to us to know what is good for them and to the best of our ability provide it TO them. Diet can be one of the most important things you provide to ensure a long healthy life for your pet. Your dog will repay you in lower vet bills and many happy years of devotion. Isn’t that what you really want too? If it is, please read on. Even though your dog may go CRAZY for the Grocery store $2.00 special bag of treats, chances are those treats are HIGH in fat, salt, sugar and artificial colors. Those things aren’t good for us either so why should your dog be any different? In truth, they are junk food and should only be used very sparingly if EVER! Homemade treats give you the advantage in KNOWING exactly what is in your dogs treats. Since they are made with human grade food they will not have the preservatives in them either. You know approximately WHEN they were made into the final product. Our treats are designed with the dog’s palette AND health in mind. We never use wheat, corn, or soy. These are the top three allergens in dogs that suffer from food allergies. We also never use salt or preservatives. We at J.P’s DoG House Chews have been successful in prolonging the shelf life of our products by dehydrating the biscuits. This locks in the flavor , adds that delicious crunch dogs like and gives them a very long shelf life. We also use flaxseed in two of our recipes. Some ask us why do we use it in the treats? Beside being rich in Omega-3s, fatty acids which are necessary for health, flaxseed also contains essential vitamins and minerals, fiber, and protein. Flaxseed is low in calories, fat and sodium making it a great product for weight management. As in humans flaxseed helps with a dog’s skin and puts a smooth shine to their coat. Other benefits include improved immunity, anti-inflammatory properties, increased bone strength, better milk production in lactating dogs, joint health, nervous system protection, and digestive support….pant, pant. Whew! So I guess as you can tell we believe it can do amazing things for your dog. We are pretty sure they will but just in case we offer three flavors ’cause even a dog can have favorites. We do make a variety bag with all three which is a great way to give them a try. One more thing though, side effects of our treats can cause intense tail wagging, may cause drooling and very wet kisses, and mind reading abilities ( they always know where you hide the treats).
